International Mission Project

The Honduran Congregational Mission of San Pedro Sula is a ministry created by the vision of Majken Broby. Sensing God’s call to Honduras in 1974, Ms. Broby established the mission to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of the Honduran people.

The Honduran Congregational Mission supports 12 churches, a medical and dental clinic, a pharmacy, and an elementary school for kindergarten through tenth grade.The Mission and the "home church" of the mission, Emmanuel Congregational Church located in the village of Rivera Hernandez.

The mission’s dental and medical clinics provide health care for clients who would not otherwise have access to such vital services. They see an average of 65 patients a day. The Honduran mission supports all staff salaries and pharmaceutical costs.

Mission Trip 2010

Bread of Life Christian Mission has extended its resources and ministry to the Honduran Congregational Mission. This fall was our first missions trip. We took over 300 pairs of shoes with us to distribute to the children and families in Luquiwe, Yoro, an isolated mountainous village over an hour travel from anything.
